Friends for 33 years!

My dear friend Lori has moved back to Regina. Our lives have intersected in very interesting ways over 33 years. She blesses me with her warm heart, engaging humor and wonderful hospitality always! Her sweet daughter is lots like her Mom.

no more green

The painting is finally done! Yippee and thanks to a wonderful husband who went above and beyond the call of duty with all the work involved. Goodbye green - hello "wilmington tan". Just in time for Christmas.

Team

I thoroughly enjoy working on and with a team. I've worked with many over the years. The team I currently am enjoying is the District Women's Leadership Team. Even though there is diversity in style and personality, we move forward with unity and fun! I'm grateful each day for the joy this group gives me and for what's being accomplished across our district and around the world thanks to these women. God is good!

Melody - a gift!

Some of you know the story of my quest for an International Project Coordinator. God blessed me with the gift of Melody! She's done an excellent job of pulling off this huge mandate - an international, annual project for women across Canada to get involved with. This year has been Serbia - the Time is Now. www.serbiathetimeisnow.ca I just met Mel in Edmonton to make plans for the coming year's project - we'll be in the Desert Sands area of the world. Thanks Mel, for your servant and global heart! You bless me each time we meet.

Edmonton

It was a privilege to be with our kids, Karmyn and Brock, in Edmonton last week - yes, another National Women's trip with this side benefit. We're enjoying supper at their favorite restaurant. The ice sculptures are in front of the Alberta Legislature where we listened to some musical groups - an Edmonton Christmas tradition. Thanks for all your kindness K & B!

Staff Party

We're so privileged to work with some WONDERFUL, GIFTED people. We had a fun time celebrating Christmas with them all yesterday. We travelled together to Caronport's Christmas production which was excellent. Then, we were off to supper at the Cordova Bistro in Moose Jaw and back to the Ellergodt's for dessert, the annual, wacky gift exchange - I must go buy that Michael Buble CD! - and good visiting. Merry Christmas friends!
