precious to God

Daniel 10:18,19 Then the one who looked like a man touched me again, and I felt my strength returning. "Don't be afraid," he said, "for you are very precious to God. Peace! Be encouraged! Be strong!"

In all the uncertainties of mom's cancer diagnosis, how sweet of Jesus to give me these words. Even though they were written thousands of years ago to Daniel, the unchanging Son of Man stands ready to touch me with the truth of who he is and who I am - precious to him! I am encouraged.
